Libya's National Oil Corporation (NOC) announced that it recorded 2.1 billion dollars in losses due to the closures of ports and oil installations since January 24.

Daily oil production has also plummeted to 122,000 barrells per according to a statement by the NOC.

The statement indicated that hydrocarbons in the eastern and central regions were available in sufficient quantities to meet the transportation needs and requirements of citizens, as a tanker loaded with cooking gas has finished unloading in the port of Benghazi, and a gas tanker is expected to arrive tomorrow, while storage warehouses in Tripoli and some of the surrounding areas and southern regions are still suffering a lack of supplies due to the deteriorating security situation.
