A statement issued by the Central Bank of Libya showed that fees for foreign exchange sales amounted to two billion and 319 million dinars in January.

The bank statement on revenue and spending for the month of January added that no revenue from oil or fuel sales was recorded, noting that direct losses from the closure of oil ports and stopping the production of fields reached more than 2.5 billion dinars.

The Central Bank warned that the continuation of this closure threatens the financial, economic and political conditions, noting that no financial arrangements have been approved for the year 2020 until today, despite the bank's repeated requests since September 2019.
