Libya Central Bank: January oil revenues at zero

A statement issued by the Central Bank of Libya on revenue and spending for January showed that oil revenues are at zero.

The bank said in a statement issued today, that the losses of closing oil ports and stopping production of fields in January amounted to about 2.5 billion dinars, calling for concerted efforts to return oil production and export immediately.

The statement also revealed that the revenues of selling fuel in the local market were also zero.
