Libyan Airlines plans to launch special flights to the Libyan south.

Libyan Airlines spokesman Mohamed Kenwa said in a statement to Alwasat that the flights would be operated to the Ghat and Obari airports in southwestern Libya, as part of the company's efforts to ease the suffering of the citizens, especially in the south because of the shortage in daily basics.

He explained that the flights, which will start on Thursday to Ghat, will transfer cash, supplies, medical equipment, medicine and vaccines needed by the region.
