The head of Libya's National Oil Corporation, Mustafa Sanalla, has refused to speak during his participation in the World Oil Summit in Paris this week because of what he considered "insufficient support from the French government," according to a related source .

Sanalla's position comes as reports indicate support from the French side for Marshal Khalifa Haftar, whose forces earlier this month started an offensive to take of over the capital Tripoli. The French government denied the charges and renewed its support for the Government of National Accord headed by Fayez Al-Sarraj.
