For the first time since the city's liberation from ISIS, Sirte Bank allows withdrawals of up to 2000 dinars

Sirte Bank has allowed its customers to authorize the withdrawal of 2000 dinars from current accountw for the first time since the liberation of the city from the ISIS terrorist organization in 2016.

A source at the municipal council of Sirte tells Alwasat that the bank is subsidiary of the Bank of North Africa in Sirte which has begun to process transactions of 2000 dinars from the government to benefit the tribes of Sirte.

The source pointed out that the city also expected a shipment of cash from the Central Bank to resolve the ongoing liquidity crisis at the Bank of North Africa in the near future.
