The ship docking was attended by Interior Minister Brigadier Abdul Salam Ashour, Finance Minister Osama Hammad, Head of the Customs Department Brigadier Tareq Al Faqih and officials at the port, according to the Communications Department.
Bader confirmed that the tanker had begun to unload the product onboard and was given permission to leave within 24 hours.
Minister of Transport Milad Maatouk during his recent visit to the port agreed to work on deepening the port and approved themaintenance of some berths so that it could return to work full-time, stressing the importance of its work in receiving cargo as the maritime port of the western region of Libya.
