The Libya Central Bank in Al-Bayda welcomed the request of Presidential Council PM Fayez Serraj for the formation of an international technical committee under the supervision of the United Nations to review all revenues, expenses and transactions of the Central Bank of Libya in Tripoli and Al-Bayda, provided that "the work be under ther of the Board of the Central Bank headed by Mohammed Shukri, and supervised by the House of Representatives."
The Central Bank in Al-Bayda said in an official statement issued earlier today that "the administration of the Central Bank in Al-Bayda has not received any revenues neither have any documentary credits have been implemented, but we welcome this invitation fully." We call for "the work of the technical committees together with internationally recognized accounting and auditing companies, and that their work be specific in time to submit its final report and presented through the media to inform the public of the results.:
In a letter to the Security Council on Tuesday evening,Fayez Serraj, called for the formation of a technical international committee under the supervision of the United Nations, using specialized international, financial and economic organizations to review all revenues and expenses and transactions of the Central Bank of Libya in Tripoli and Al-Bayda to achieve the principle of integrity and transparency and to face a very serious situation."
